The Hotel Service Charge is paid to Holland America Line crew members, and represents an important part of their compensation. A 18% Bar Service Charge is automatically added to bar charges and Dining Room wine purchases. In terminals, airports, ports of call and on shore excursions, we suggest that you extend gratuities consistent with customary local practices

Cancellations through 75 days before commencing travel: 100% refund
74-57 days before commencing travel: 100% refund, less required deposit amount
56-29 days before commencing travel: 50% refund of gross fare
28-16 days before commencing travel: 25% refund of gross fare
15 days or less before commencing travel: No refund available

  • In order to complete the booking, and according to the company policy, it is necessary for you to provide full details of all participants (Full Name, Date and Place of Birth) as they are shown on your Passport(s)/ID(s) (depending on the cruise type you have selected). It is also necessary to provide an Emergency Contact (friend or relative) and full contact details (Full name, Phone Number Mobile/Landline) of this person.
  • A valid passport is required for this cruise (please check for Visa)
  • In order to confirm a booking a 30% deposit is require of the booking total. Balance must be paid 75 days prior to departure date. Any booking made in the period of less than 75 days full payment of the booking is required.
  • Passports - You are responsible for securing proper documentation for the countries visited on your cruise or land tour. 
  • Boarding may be denied or fines may be levied against those guests without proper documentation.

We strongly recommend carrying a passport that is valid for at least six months beyond the completion date of your travel, as this is required by some countries. All guests must carry their valid passports
